Khollin Musiq is from Maumelle, AR. He is a saxophonist. He had a cousin who passed away from lupus. He heard about the talent show at the Black Expo event earlier this year. Khollin Musiq wanted to participate in the show to cater to the Lupus Warriors and to have fun. He made the All-State 1st Band, 2nd chair, and is a part of the RABYC Band which stands for Regular AR Baptist Youth Convention Band.

Smitty B is from Little Rock, AR. Smitty is a saxophone player. He has witnessed people live without hesitation towards their dreams despite their circumstance. He is one of the Lupus Foundation’s Statewide Talent Show former contestants. Smitty likes to express his gifts in music and expose capabilities in multiple settings. He wants to raise awareness of this disease. He is known for incorporating his saxophone with other music tracks and projects.

Unique the Deaf Dancer resides in Bryant, AR. She is a dancer who is the first Black DEAFBLND Dancer/Choreographer to graduate with a Master’s in Choreography at Jacksonville University in May of this year. She says “dance is about Phoenix Rising”, which is the name of the piece she will be dancing to, no matter what!”
